What should I bring to my first riding lesson?

We ask that you wear pants and a boot with about a one inch heel. We can provide a loaner helmet for the first few lessons but encourage our riders to purchase their own. Trainer can help guide rider to an appropriate equestrian riding helmet.

What is the age limit to participate in Benson Equestrian Lessons and Camps?

There is no age limit! We welcome all ages to come out and ride with us! For the extra small kids we offer a shorter lesson for their shorter attention spans. Its also never too late to start riding. We will guide you every step of the way.

Camps are typically geared towards children 4 and up. The lessons we teach are very versatile and we are able to adjust the information to meet the age level.
